1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or playing Butterflies and Cannonballs ("the Game"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are under the age of 13, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you play the Game. By allowing a child to use the Game, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms on that child's behalf.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or play the Game.

2. About the Game

Butterflies and Cannonballs is a free, single-player arcade game for Android where players move a net across the screen to catch colorful, falling butterflies while avoiding dangerous cannonballs. The Game features:

• 9 butterfly species to catch (Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Yellow, Pink, Purple, Purple-Pink, and Rainbow)
• 100 hand-crafted levels across 10 themed zones
• A prestige loop system that extends gameplay beyond 100 levels
• 5 collectible net cosmetic skins (Base, Wood, Silver, Gold, Crystal)
• 46 achievements to unlock
• Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty settings

3. License to Use

Jason Repac ("Publisher") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial use on Android devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

4. Eligibility

The Game is designed for players of all ages. No account creation, registration, or personal information is required to play. Children may play the Game under appropriate parental supervision.

5. No In-App Purchases

Butterflies and Cannonballs contains no in-app purchases of any kind. The Game is completely free to download and play. Virtual coins earned through gameplay have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services. All net cosmetics and in-game items are unlocked exclusively through gameplay.

6. Advertising

The Game is free and supported by advertisements delivered through Google AdMob. All advertisements are family-appropriate and non-personalized. We have configured AdMob with child-directed treatment enabled and interest-based advertising disabled, in compliance with COPPA and Google Play's Families Policy.

You acknowledge that ads may appear during gameplay. Ad content is provided and controlled by Google AdMob, not by the Publisher.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in Butterflies and Cannonballs — including but not limited to artwork, butterfly graphics, net designs, music, sound effects, user interface, game logic, and the "Butterflies and Cannonballs" name and logo — is owned by Jason Repac and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any game content
• Use any game content for commercial purposes
• Create derivative works based on the Game without written permission
• Remove or obscure any copyright or ownership notices

Music tracks used in the Game are licensed under Creative Commons (CC0) or similar permissive licenses from their respective creators, as noted in the game credits.

8. Prohibited Conduct

By playing the Game, you agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game or any of its components
• Use cheating software, bots, automation tools, or any unauthorized third-party programs
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage (please report them to us instead)
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks related to the Game

9. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Game at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide updates or to maintain any particular version of the Game. We reserve the right to discontinue the Game at our sole discretion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Game is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jason Repac shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Game. Because the Game is provided free of charge with no in-app purchases, the Publisher's maximum total liability to you for any claims related to the Game shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00).

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Game after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
